![]() Try turning off nearby wifi devices (like your phone), try turning off nearby bluetooth devices (like everything), try turning off your 2,4Ghz or 5Ghz wifi on your router, and so on. There’s been zero firmware updates from Steelseries since the product released in 2019, and reading their troubleshoot page is a wonder itself. I’ve mostly found threads on Reddit with similar complaints, but most of them when using the headset on an Xbox One. Trying to find some official word from Steelseries or Xbox regarding this is quick, simply because there is none. At one point my controller stopped working because I turned the headset off, so I had to connect the controller with a cable to even turn the system/controller off. ![]() This is a problem using both the new controller included with the machine as well as my Elite Series 2.Īnd the problems are even more weird than the lousy connectivity. ![]() In some games the sound is constantly bugging out, especially on static screens like a menu, and during gameplay the sound very frequently cuts off and on again. They’re connected the same way you connect a wireless controller, and I believe that’s the main issue since they seem to constantly collide with their signals. ![]() So far unfortunately they’ve been a complete hit and miss, mostly due to the awful connectivity to the Xbox. And I can understand why, since they are very comfortable with excellent sound. So I got my shiny new Xbox that I love and with it I decided to treat myself with a nice headset that was recommended from several places: Steelseries Arctis 9X. ![]()
